Roam is photographic studio inspired by concepts like roaming into the city, the love for Rome and its iconic elements. After a research, the Sanpientrino (cablestone) was chosen to represent the studio: an ancient type of brick used by Romans to pave the streets that perfectly fit the concept of roaming into the streets and it’s one of the most iconic elements related to Rome. A modern and friendly It came out, like the studio and its photographers.
WROAM photography is a studio that likes to play whit the stereotyped image of the city, in order to find new interesting ways of communication. Taking into consideration this aspect, the logo becomes an iconic image to play with in a lot of different contexts; in this sense, the Sanpietrino became a strong pop icon representing the studio (and the city itself) in a new funny and unconventional way.
For the type was chosen Quicksand, a rounded sans-serif font whit an informal style. This font is well-projected and suits perfectly the modern and friendly feeling of the brand.
The palette is based on robin’s egg blue color that reminds the grayness of the Sanpietrino without resulting too flat. The color matches well both with black and white and characterizes the brand in an elegant and sober way.
